Luz Robinson’s research interests are promoting school safety and marginalized youth social, emotional, and academic development. Her dissertation utilizes a human centered design, mixed methods approach, to reduce math anxiety and increase math self-efficacy through the development and pilot testing of a bilingual, culturally relevant math game for Hispanic and African American elementary school students, with a focus on girls of color.
